該期刊的目的是通過一系列神經(jīng)科學領域的綜合努力來追求多學科科學。這是綜合方面的多學科科學進步在神經(jīng)科學的接口，形成了該期刊的范圍。該雜志將促進和傳播旨在通過綜合方法解決跨層次推進多學科科學的問題和挑戰(zhàn)的研究。以下類型的論文適用于期刊：快速溝通和論壇風格的評論文章（約16頁；20次引用）包含研究報告的原創(chuàng)文章（約40頁；60次引用）包含文獻批判性調查的專題評論（約40頁；120次引用）書評該雜志每季度出版一次。

The aim of the Journal is the pursuit of multidisciplinary sciences through an integrative endeavor that links diverse fields of neuroscience. It is the integrative aspect from which multidisciplinary sciences advance at the interface of neuroscience that forms the scope of the Journal. The Journal will promote and disseminate studies that seek to address issues and challenges in advancing multidisciplinary sciences across hierarchical levels through integrative approaches.The following types of papers are suitable for the Journal:Rapid communications and forum style commentary articles (approx. 16 pages; 20 citations)Original articles containing research reports (approx. 40 pages; 60 citations)Topical reviews containing critical survey of the literature (approx. 40 pages; 120 citations)Book reviewsThe Journal is published quarterly.
