益生菌和抗菌蛋白出版評論、原創(chuàng)文章、信件和簡短說明，以及旨在促進(jìn)益生菌、天然抗菌蛋白及其衍生物在生物醫(yī)學(xué)、農(nóng)業(yè)、獸醫(yī)、食品和化妝品中的應(yīng)用的基礎(chǔ)知識和探索的技術(shù)/方法交流。該雜志歡迎關(guān)于這些微生物和物質(zhì)的應(yīng)用的基礎(chǔ)研究文章和報告，并鼓勵結(jié)構(gòu)研究和有關(guān)抗菌蛋白結(jié)構(gòu)和功能特性的研究。

Probiotics and Antimicrobial Proteins publishes reviews, original articles, letters and short notes and technical/methodological communications aimed at advancing fundamental knowledge and exploration of the applications of probiotics, natural antimicrobial proteins and their derivatives in biomedical, agricultural, veterinary, food, and cosmetic products. The Journal welcomes fundamental research articles and reports on applications of these microorganisms and substances, and encourages structural studies and studies that correlate the structure and functional properties of antimicrobial proteins.
