神經(jīng)科學(xué)是一門典型的多學(xué)科科學(xué)，包括許多領(lǐng)域，它們的共同目標(biāo)是試圖對中樞神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)的結(jié)構(gòu)和功能提供一個(gè)完整的理解。研究領(lǐng)域包括:細(xì)胞和分子神經(jīng)科學(xué);神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)的發(fā)育;感覺系統(tǒng)、運(yùn)動(dòng)系統(tǒng)和行為;監(jiān)管系統(tǒng);更高的認(rèn)知和語言;計(jì)算神經(jīng)科學(xué);以及大腦紊亂。

Neuroscience is the archetypal multidisciplinary science encompassing a variety of fields that share the common goal of attempting to provide a complete understanding of the structure and function of the central nervous system. Among the area covered are: cellular and molecular neuroscience; development of the nervous system; sensory systems, motor systems and behaviour; regulatory systems; higher cognition and language; computational neuroscience; and disorders of the brain.
