中文簡(jiǎn)介

許多新的天文觀測(cè)儀器，在各種波長(zhǎng)已經(jīng)和正在不斷發(fā)展。因此，大量的工作正在投入到新的數(shù)據(jù)分析技術(shù)中，以應(yīng)對(duì)這些儀器收集的數(shù)據(jù)流。實(shí)驗(yàn)天文學(xué)是發(fā)表有關(guān)天體物理儀器和在所有波長(zhǎng)場(chǎng)進(jìn)行天文學(xué)所需方法的當(dāng)代科學(xué)興趣論文的媒介。實(shí)驗(yàn)天文學(xué)出版全文文章，研究信件和評(píng)論的發(fā)展，檢測(cè)技術(shù)，儀器，數(shù)據(jù)分析和圖像處理技術(shù)。偶爾會(huì)出版一些專(zhuān)題，深入介紹與特定項(xiàng)目（如衛(wèi)星實(shí)驗(yàn)或地面望遠(yuǎn)鏡）相關(guān)的儀器和/或分析，或?qū)ｉT(mén)技術(shù)。

Many new instruments for observing astronomical objects at a variety of wavelengths have been and are continually being developed. Consequently, a vast amount of effort is being put into new data analysis techniques to cope with rivers of data collected by these instruments.Experimental Astronomy is a medium for the publication of papers of contemporary scientific interest on astrophysical instrumentation and methods necessary for the conduct of astronomy at all wavelength fields.Experimental Astronomy publishes full-length articles, research letters and reviews on developments in detection techniques, instruments, and data analysis and image processing techniques. Occasional special issues are published, giving an in-depth presentation of the instrumentation and/or analysis connected with specific projects, such as satellite experiments or ground-based telescopes, or of specialized techniques.
