《華爾街日?qǐng)?bào)》由吉里·齊德克博士于1980年在俄克拉荷馬大學(xué)創(chuàng)辦，得到俄克拉荷馬大學(xué)總統(tǒng)協(xié)會(huì)基金的資助;1984年繼續(xù)由脊椎動(dòng)物古生物學(xué)會(huì)。脊椎動(dòng)物古生物學(xué)雜志由脊椎動(dòng)物古生物學(xué)會(huì)出版，每季一期。任何18歲或以上對(duì)脊椎動(dòng)物化石的任何方面感興趣的人都可以成為這個(gè)協(xié)會(huì)的會(huì)員。

The Journal was founded in 1980 at the University of Oklahoma by Dr. Jiri Zidek, with financial support from the University of Oklahoma Presidential Associates Fund; continued in 1984 by the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology. The Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology is published quarterly by the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology. Membership in the Society is open to anyone 18 years of age or over who is interested in any aspect of fossil vertebrates.
