《南非科學(xué)雜志》是南非科學(xué)院雙月刊的多學(xué)科期刊。我們的使命是發(fā)表跨學(xué)科或區(qū)域性的原創(chuàng)研究，吸引來自多個(gè)學(xué)科的讀者，并提供一個(gè)討論新聞和研究及高等教育發(fā)展的論壇。要求作者以專家和非專家都能理解的方式和風(fēng)格撰寫論文和報(bào)告。由同行評審的研究貢獻(xiàn)有三種:評審文章、研究文章和研究信函。與更專業(yè)的期刊相比，所有這些類別的格式都必須相對簡短:詳情可以在作者指南中找到。

The South African Journal of Science is a multidisciplinary journal published bimonthly by the Academy of Science of South Africa. Our mandate is to publish original research with an interdisciplinary or regional focus, which will interest readers from more than one discipline, and to provide a forum for discussion of news and developments in research and higher education. Authors are requested to write their papers and reports in a manner and style that is intelligible to specialists and non-specialists alike. Research contributions, which are peer reviewed, are of three kinds: Review Articles, Research Articles and Research Letters. The format for all of these categories is, of necessity, relatively brief compared with that of more specialised journals: details can be found in the guidelines to authors.
