現代物理快報B (MPLB)為凝聚態物理、統計物理以及原子、分子和光學物理領域的重要和有用的研究成果的快速流通開辟了一條通道。重點放在當前感興趣的主題，如冷原子和分子，新的拓撲材料和相，和新的低維材料。該雜志還載有一個簡短的評論部分，目的是發表關于最新實驗結果和緊迫的新理論發展的簡短報告。

MODERN PHYSICS LETTERS B (MPLB) opens a channel for the fast circulation of important and useful research findings in Condensed Matter Physics, Statistical Physics, as well as Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics. A strong emphasis is placed on topics of current interest, such as cold atoms and molecules, new topological materials and phases, and novel low-dimensional materials. The journal also contains a Brief Reviews section with the purpose of publishing short reports on the latest experimental findings and urgent new theoretical developments.
