《貝類學(xué)雜志》是世界上關(guān)于這一課題最古老的連續(xù)出版物。該書每年出版兩次，內(nèi)容包括關(guān)于軟體動(dòng)物的科學(xué)論文和簡(jiǎn)短的交流，重點(diǎn)是促進(jìn)保護(hù)、生物地理學(xué)和分類學(xué)。內(nèi)容涵蓋了來(lái)自世界各地的新物種的描述，以及有關(guān)軟體動(dòng)物的生態(tài)、分布和狀況的報(bào)告。活軟體動(dòng)物和化石軟體動(dòng)物都要處理。此外，該期刊還包括《社會(huì)學(xué)報(bào)》、訃告和書評(píng)。作為一種科學(xué)出版物，論文只有經(jīng)過(guò)評(píng)審才能發(fā)表。該雜志由世界各地的學(xué)術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)訂閱，是該協(xié)會(huì)的旗艦刊物。會(huì)員及非會(huì)員均可向名譽(yù)編輯投稿。

The Journal of Conchology is the world's oldest continuing publication on the subject. Published twice a year, it contains scientific papers and short communications on molluscs with emphasis on promoting conservation, biogeography and taxonomy. The contents cover, typically, descriptions of new species from anywhere in the world and reports concerning the ecology, distribution and status of molluscs. Both living and fossil molluscs are dealt with.In addition the Journal includes the official proceedings of the Society, obituaries and book reviews. Being a scientific publication papers are published only after review by referees. The Journal is subscribed to by learned institutions world-wide, and is a flagship publication for the Society. Members and non-members may submit contributions to the Honorary Editor.
