應(yīng)用分析主要涉及應(yīng)用于科學和工程問題的分析。論文應(yīng)清楚地說明所涉及的數(shù)學應(yīng)用。另一方面，主要關(guān)注建模而不是分析的論文不在雜志的討論范圍之內(nèi)受歡迎的一般分析領(lǐng)域包括微分方程、積分方程、非線性分析、應(yīng)用泛函分析、理論數(shù)值分析和近似理論。例如，在應(yīng)用中，包括對電磁現(xiàn)象、聲學振動和具有多個空間和時間尺度的其它問題的均化理論的使用、醫(yī)學成像和地球物理學的逆問題、移動邊界問題的變分方法、理論力學的凸分析和空間生物數(shù)學模型的分析方法。

Applicable Analysis is concerned primarily with analysis that has application to scientific and engineering problems. Papers should indicate clearly an application of the mathematics involved. On the other hand, papers that are primarily concerned with modeling rather than analysis are outside the scope of the journalGeneral areas of analysis that are welcomed contain the areas of differential equations, with emphasis on PDEs, and integral equations, nonlinear analysis, applied functional analysis, theoretical numerical analysis and approximation theory. Areas of application, for instance, include the use of homogenization theory for electromagnetic phenomena, acoustic vibrations and other problems with multiple space and time scales, inverse problems for medical imaging and geophysics, variational methods for moving boundary problems, convex analysis for theoretical mechanics and analytical methods for spatial bio-mathematical models.
