ZooKeys是一份同行評議、開放獲取、快速傳播的期刊，旨在加速分類學(xué)、系統(tǒng)發(fā)育、生物地理學(xué)和動(dòng)物進(jìn)化方面的研究和免費(fèi)信息交流。ZooKeys旨在應(yīng)用最新的趨勢和方法出版和保存的數(shù)字材料，以滿足最高標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)分類時(shí)代。ZooKeys在系統(tǒng)動(dòng)物學(xué)上發(fā)表論文，包含來自世界任何地區(qū)的任何地質(zhì)時(shí)代的任何分類單元的分類學(xué)/動(dòng)物群數(shù)據(jù)，不受手稿大小的限制。為回應(yīng)生物多樣性資訊連結(jié)及透過科技進(jìn)步合成知識(shí)的最新趨勢，ZooKeys亦在生態(tài)學(xué)、分子生物學(xué)、基因組學(xué)、進(jìn)化生物學(xué)、古生物學(xué)、行為科學(xué)、生物資訊學(xué)等學(xué)科發(fā)表論文。

ZooKeys is a peer-reviewed, open-access, rapidly disseminated journal launched to accelerate research and free information exchange in taxonomy, phylogeny, biogeography and evolution of animals.ZooKeys aims to apply the latest trends and methodologies in publishing and preservation of digital materials to meet the highest possible standards of the cybertaxonomy era.ZooKeys publishes papers in systematic zoology containing taxonomic/faunistic data on any taxon of any geological age from any part of the world with no limit to manuscript size. To respond to the current trends in linking biodiversity information and synthesizing the knowledge through technology advancements, ZooKeys also publishes papers across other taxon-based disciplines, such as ecology, molecular biology, genomics, evolutionary biology, paleontology, behavioural science, bioinformatics, etc.
