《水環境研究》(WER)自1928年出版以來，是一本國際性的多學科水資源管理期刊，旨在傳播與水質和資源回收有關的所有科學和技術領域的基礎和應用研究。WER的目標是促進水科學與環境毒理學、農業、公共和職業健康、微生物學和生態學等相關領域的交流和跨學科研究。除了原始的研究文章，還鼓勵簡短的交流、案例研究、評論和觀點。

Published since 1928, Water Environment Research (WER) is an international multidisciplinary water resource management journal for the dissemination of fundamental and applied research in all scientific and technical areas related to water quality and resource recovery. WER's goal is to foster communication and interdisciplinary research between water sciences and related fields such as environmental toxicology, agriculture, public and occupational health, microbiology, and ecology. In addition to original research articles, short communications, case studies, reviews, and perspectives are encouraged.
