《化學(xué)月刊》最初是一本奧地利化學(xué)雜志。然而，在最近的時間里，它逐漸轉(zhuǎn)變成一個國際期刊，包括化學(xué)的所有分支。它的特點(diǎn)是分析無機(jī)藥物有機(jī)物理結(jié)構(gòu)和理論化學(xué)的最新研究，包括面向化學(xué)領(lǐng)域的生物化學(xué)。《化學(xué)月刊》發(fā)表經(jīng)過評審的原創(chuàng)論文，并強(qiáng)調(diào)一個名為“短篇報道”的快速出版板塊。被邀請的評論討論會和專門討論特殊領(lǐng)域的問題也將包括在內(nèi)。

"Monatshefte für Chemie/Chemical Monthly" was conceived in its very beginnings as an Austrian journal of chemistry. However during recent times it was gradually transformed into an international journal including all branches of chemistry. It features the most recent research in analytical inorganic medicinal organic physical structural and theoretical chemistry including the chemically oriented areas of biochemistry. "Monatshefte für Chemie/Chemical Monthly" publishes refereed original papers and emphasizes a rapid publication section entitled "Short Communications". Invited reviews symposia in print and issues devoted to special fields will also be included.
