環(huán)境建模與評估在科學界對關(guān)鍵環(huán)境問題的理解和決策者需要在現(xiàn)有最佳信息的基礎(chǔ)上影響相關(guān)政策和法規(guī)之間架起了橋梁。該雜志提供高質(zhì)量的同行評審論文，這些論文可以被視為最佳實踐的實例，也可以被視為促進建模和評估的理論和技術(shù)的發(fā)展和適用性的研究。編輯們尤其對具體環(huán)境問題的詳細科學模型和全球環(huán)境的大規(guī)模模型感興趣。該雜志還提供了一個論壇，研究人員可以發(fā)表一個完整的數(shù)學描述的重要環(huán)境模型，連同伴隨的分析和基本假設(shè)。本刊不收版面費。所有2014年2月1日以后接受的文章將在網(wǎng)上和印刷版免費提供顏色。

Environmental Modeling & Assessment builds bridges between the scientific community's understanding of key environmental issues and the decision makers' need to influence relevant policies and regulations on the basis of the best available information. The journal offers high quality, peer-reviewed papers that may be regarded as either instances of best practice, or as studies that advance the evolution and applicability of the theories and techniques of modeling and assessment. In particular, the editors are interested both in detailed scientific models of specific environmental problems and in large scale models of the global environment.The journal also provides a forum where researchers can publish a complete mathematical description of important environmental models together with the accompanying analysis and underlying assumptions.There are no page charges to publish in this journal.All articles accepted after February 1, 2014 will have free color online and in print.
